Our story so far
Founded in 2021 by Mother and Daughter team Frances and Scarlet, Maeva Rae was born from the desire to create a 100% sustainable, luxury brand using fragrances that are scientifically backed with mood enhancing benefits. Frances has worked in the beauty space for over 30 years as a makeup artist and skincare expert working on high profile editorials and campaigns. After creating Frances Prescott Skin care launching with the iconic Tri Balm she is thrilled to collaborate with her daughter in a new very exciting venture. We are extremely proud that our candles have been made in the UK using 10% essential oils with meticulous attention to detail, encapsulating all our core values. We have curated a beautiful brand alongside a fantastic team of industry experts.

Sustainability
Sustainability is an integral part of Maeva Rae and has been considered during every stage of the production process. We chose to use vegan soy wax with a hemp wick due to its cleaner burning properties. There are no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, which means it’s less likely to trigger allergies. We use 100% natural fragrances from a well respected fragrance house. Our packaging is manufactured by a company that considers sustainability in every aspect of their business. From the vegetable/soya based inks (which are cleaner and more easily recycled), to their in-house recycling facilities that mean every single piece of waste and offcut is stored, compacted and recycled, ready for pulping. Our glass jars are fully recyclable and can be repurposed.

We started with three simple emotions and began to build on these, confident in the notion that we could craft a gorgeous luxury range that would truly make a difference. All our candles have been expertly formulated using advanced fragrance technology from years of research. Our gorgeously blended signature fragrances use only the purest possible essential oils to give you true wellbeing benefits to help you sleep better, stress less, boost your energy or lift your mood.
